Iraqi Government Committed to Sending KRG’s Monthly Budget: Spokesperson

ERBIL — The Iraqi government will continue to send the monthly budget of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) as per a previous agreement, a spokesperson said.

Following months of technical dialogues, the federal government has agreed to send 200 billion Iraqi Dinar to the KRG in return for 250,000 barrels of oil provided by Erbil.

Iraqi government’s spokesperson, Hassan Nazim, told reporters that Baghdad has agreed to send 200 billion IQD to Erbil for this month, and the payment will continue in the coming months.
